Revalid is a hair-restorative used to stop hair-loss and stimulate its growth; it is also used to strengthen nails. Revalid is used in the following cases:
* Hair-loss of various origin.
*Deterioration of hair-shaft structure (split ends brittle or dull, lifeless hair).
*Nail-growth disorders
1 capsule of Revalid contains:
Methionine 100 mg
Cysteine 50 mg
Calcium pantothenate 50 mg
Thiamine chlorhydrate 1.5 mg
Pyridoxine chlorhydrate 10 mg
P-aminobenzoic acid 20 mg
Golden millet extract 50 mg
Wheatgerm extract 50 mg
Medicinal yeast 50 mg
Iron (Fe) 2 mg
Zinc (Zn) 2 mg
Copper (Cu) 0.5 mg
Dosage
Take 1 capsule three times a day with a little liquid, just before or during meals. Although favourable results are often noticed as soon as the end of the first month of treatment, Revalid therapy should normally last three months, and may be lengthened or repeated if necessary. Depending on the acuteness of the case, the treatment should start with the intensive dosage of 2 capsules three times a day; return to the normal dosage of 1 capsule three times a day after one month.
Contraindications
Do not use Revalid if you are hypersensitive to one component of the preparation, or during treatment with a sulfonamide-like antibiotic (in which case the effect of the antibiotic could be decreased). Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if: you suffer from another disease, if you have allergies, or you are already taking other drugs (including self-medication!) In principle, Revalid can be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding. However, you should preferably seek medical advice before beginning a treatment with Revalid during pregnancy. Some mild digestive discomfort may be felt at times with a larger than normal dosage (e.g. 6 capsules a day). If so, return to the usual dosage of one capsule three times a day.
